Summer is here – and so is the fun at Priory Meadow!

After a spot of shopping, take a break and unwind at the Priory Meadow Beach in Queens Square. Our giant sand pit is the perfect spot to sink into a deckchair while the little ones build sandcastles and play. Open daily during July and August.

Plus join us all season long for a sunshine-filled line-up of free family events, seaside smiles, and creative fun! From giant bubbles and puppet shows to seaside crafts and roaming seagulls, there’s something exciting happening every week. Click here to see the super line-up.

Beach rules:

• Children must be supervised at all times
• No food or drink is to be consumed on the sand
• Smoking is not permitted on any area of the beach
• Please take your litter with you
• Do not throw sand and be courteous of others
• Dogs are not permitted on any area of the beach
• Please leave the bucket and spades for others to enjoy
