1066: Swords and Sandcastles Pop-up Beach – July & August

Step into 1066… with a bucket and spade 🏖️⚔️

Our legendary summer beach is BACK this July & August, and this year we’re celebrating Hastings’ incredible history with a knight-themed twist!

You’ll find our giant sand pit in Queens Square, open daily throughout July and August. Sit back in a deckchair and relax whilst the little ones dig, build, play and explore.

We do have a few rules we need you to follow please:

• Children must be supervised at all times
• No food or drink is to be consumed on the sand
• Smoking or vaping is not permitted on any area
• Please do not throw the sand
• Please take your litter with you or use the square bins
• Please leave the buckets and spades for others to enjoy
• Dogs are not permitted on any area of the beach
• Please be considerate of others
