Full job description: 

  • To be the main point of contact for Centre Management. 40 hours average per week – Must be flexible
  • To liaise daily with your Red Support Services line manager, Soft Services Manager and the Cleaning and Security teams.
  • To assist with managing Rotas and ensure full hours are utilised
  • To oversee both the Cleaning and Security staff.
  • To assist with staff training where applicable
  • To assist with wage submissions for all staff and to submit these to Red Management as per the issued schedule with the assistance of Managers
  • To ensure stock levels are checked and reported to Soft Services Manager.
  • To ensure that all machinery and equipment is kept in full working order. Any issues are to be reported to Soft Services Manager for repair/replacement
  • To submit a monthly report to the Soft Services Manager.
  • To assist with HR matters on site where required (with assistance from Head Office and line Manager, training will be provided).
  • To carry out appraisals with all members of staff quarterly.
  • To ensure that all site procedures are followed at all times.
  • To ensure that all site logs and checks have been completed correctly and to the required standard.
  • To oversee all site Health and Safety requirements and keep up to date with all relevant H&S legislation and monitor such issues throughout the Centre. Training to be provided
  • To ensure that all site paperwork and certification is up to date at all times.
  • To be responsible for ensuring that all required training has been completed and training records are maintained.
  • To have the ability to be totally flexible and be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment in a very busy shopping Centre.
  • Any other duties as required.
  • To ensure all Assignment instructions are followed at all times
  • Must have previous cleaning experience
  • Liaising with external contractors on behalf of Centre Management and Red

  • Applicant should be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all members of staff, senior management and tenants.
  • Applicant should demonstrate the ability to ensure procedure and policy are followed by team members.
  • Applicant should demonstrate a good command of spoken and written English for effective communication and instruction.
  • Applicant to demonstrate mental agility and a good memory in order to be able to make decisions under stressful circumstances when necessary.
  • Applicant to demonstrate the ability to be capable of making decisions on own and to be a team player.
  • Applicant should be physically fit in order to undertake patrols and cleaning duties when required and respond to incidents as required.
  • Applicant should demonstrate the ability to write clear and concise incident reports
  • Applicant should have good computer skills including a working knowledge of Word, Excel and emails.
  • Applicant should possess excellent relevant Security Industry knowledge and should take steps to ensure this knowledge is kept current.
  • Applicant should possess excellent relevant Cleaning Industry knowledge and should take steps to ensure this knowledge is kept current.
  • Applicant should possess an excellent knowledge of Health and Safety including, Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments, Colour Coding and correct use of equipment.
  • Applicant should possess the ability to recruit and train team members.
  • Applicant should be confident in dealing with HR matters with the support of Head Office.
  • Applicant should possess strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple teams.
  • Applicant should be innovative and continually seek to make improvements in processes.
